About Chanel

Growing up a stone throw away from the Kruger National Park, loving wildlife and outdoors has always come naturally. Studying Hospitality Management in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, South Africa helped me land a job at one of the most prestigious 7-star hotels in the world Burj Al Arab. Having resided in three different countries, travel is a big motivator in her daily lifestyle.

Excited to be a newlywed with an amazing husband from Namibia, she has two adopted cats called Georgia and Arizona, who never let an inhouse plant survive.

Hospitality, Tourism & Events

Having been given the opportunity to work in all sectors between tourism, hospitality as well as her previous position in B2B events, has sparked an interest in exploring cultures, customs, and languages. Chanel’s all-time favorite is planning and organizing large-scale sporting and musical events such as the Dubai Tennis Championships and Dubai Crossfit.

Cycling, Hiking & Fitness

Continuing her love for the outdoors, it is no surprise that hiking and cycling are a weekly occurrence, with mountain biking being on top of the list. Hatta and Showka are just a few favorite spots.

Training for her first triathlon is her new year’s resolution, and being fueled by motivation, pain, and planning.
