He is also an avid actor and aspiring novelist.

About Timothy
Timothy is from Gqeberha (don’t worry about trying to pronounce it), which used to be Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He was born and raised there and has lived there for the majority of his life. He, unfortunately, has not had the opportunity to travel internationally. Still, he hopes to do so in the future as he would love to experience different cultures and meet people worldwide.
Timothy has done an array of sport in his life in terms of sports and fitness, starting from a very young age. He has played cricket, hockey, tennis, squash, chess, cycling, gymnastics, and his ultimate passion, which he competed at a provincial level, is kickboxing.
After leaving school, he first went and studied sound technology for a year, which he found incredibly interesting. He embarked on getting his honors degree in Live Performance, where he majored in stage and screen acting. So when he’s not teaching English online, writing, training, or engaging in his hobbies, he is auditioning for acting roles.
His time spent studying was a great highlight in his life as he was taught and exposed to industry-standard methodologies that have fully equipped him for real-world film and stage platforms. His love of acting began back in 2007 when he started doing drama lessons as an extramural activity. He has since been in various stage productions, short films, commercials, and even feature-length movies.
He started teaching in 2020 and first taught in a physical classroom setting, educating young adults. He then moved into the sphere of online teaching, where he engaged with adult students. He has a great passion for both language and education, so the current role of being an English second language teacher allows him to pursue both.
His dream for his writing career is to ultimately be a published author of young adult, thriller, and science fiction books. Although self-publishing is incredibly tempting, he is slightly old-school in this area of his life and feels that traditional publishing is what truly validates one as a writer.
