About Wiebke

Wiebke’s love for nature led her to study a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Zoology, Botany, and Geography. She is extremely knowledgeable in the fields of Biology and Earth Sciences. Currently, Wiebke is completing her master’s degree in Geomorphology.

Her garden is the center of her world. Guided by the principals of permaculture, she grows a large variety of fruits and vegetables to feed her family all year round. She also grows medicinal herbs and is interested in natural health care. She is very knowledgeable about garden planning and management.

Cooking and baking are her favorite creative outlets. She loves surprising her family and friends with their favorite treats. Health and fitness are passions for Wiebke. She loves hiking, trail running and doing Crossfit. Animals, both wild and domestic are close to her heart, and she always takes her dog along on walks in the mountains. Mushrooms are of special interest to her; she loves going mushroom hunting in the forests close to her home.
