About Cat

A beach baby at heart, she has lived in many places but always tries to be close to the water and nature, and these often serve as inspiration for both her stories and her art.

This avid interest in fauna and flora has led to a life-long fascination with gardening, wildlife, and conservation. She enjoys learning new ways that humans can work alongside nature to benefit both and loves nothing more than a long walk on a deserted beach with her dog and poking about in rock pools.

Always keen to try new things, Cat has dabbled in everything from archery and belly dancing to various martial arts, playing guitar, kayaking, figure skating, and yoga. While fitness and artistic expression may seem like opposites, Cat believes they often go hand in hand, and the combination of the two can make for one of the happiest, most fulfilling experiences. She enjoys the challenge of balancing strength, skill, and entertainment.

She is fascinated by psychology and the human brain, particularly when it comes to learning new skills and training new habits or changing old ones.

Originally from a traditional art background, she has moved towards digital art and design over the years and fully embraces learning new software and utilizing new technology alongside traditional techniques.
