About Clio

Clio is intrigued by the stories behind extraordinary people, places, and things, and she enthusiastically delves into their inner workings. However, she’s equally invigorated by everyday wonders, like when her plants suddenly bloom or how the clouds and setting sun create spectacular sky-wide shows at dusk.

At the top of Clio’s passions list are writing and healthy living, two pastimes she’s been indulging in for over a decade as a wellness and lifestyle writer and blogger. She’s a fan of finding ways to boost mind and body wellbeing, from fitness and healthy eating to self-care and stress control.

Clio is also a qualified foundation phase teacher and a teacher of English as a foreign language, and she keeps updated on developments and trends in effective learning. She’s a lifelong learner herself, who gets a thrill from grasping something new.

Clio is inspired by how kids’ minds work. When there are children around, she listens attentively for their uncensored, unintentionally hilarious yet spot-on takes on life. She’s sure she learns as much as she teaches when working with youngsters.

Simple pleasures that fill Clio’s world with happiness include laughing uncontrollably with friends and family, enormous mugs of excellent Americano coffee, the aroma of perfectly ripe strawberries, and feeling a cool breeze on her skin during evening walks after sweltering summer days.
