About David S
In David’s career, he was able to work his way up the ranks of a software development company and went from just doing menial tasks like data capture to being an account manager for two departments within the company. That was the software development department and also the medical billing side.
Before this, David started his career at a very young age. At 14 years old he completed his surf lifeguarding and first aid course and up until the year after his 15th birthday, he was a volunteer surf lifeguard.
He started working at 15 every weekend and every school holiday as a lifeguard. As soon as David was finished with school, he became a senior lifeguard and worked there until he left for the big city where he eventually became an account manager.
In between all of this, David also worked in IT as a salesman, he was also able to repair just about any laptop or computer that he had to.
Dave has a lot of hobbies and for somebody who is trying to write about them, it is pretty hard to keep track of. Here is a list of just a few of Dave’s hobbies:
- Soccer (Football)
Today, David’s main Hobbies is running, gymming, and gaming. He does all three of these almost every single day when he’s not working.
For surfing, Dave doesn’t get to do that so much anymore but when he did, he was a competitive bodyboarder and represented his province/state.
For soccer, dave not only played soccer in school and for his local team but he also did some charity work where he coached a soccer team in a rural area of South Africa. He played as a RW (Right-midfielder) and ended up playing as a RB (Right-back).
When it comes to travel, this is something that Dave is very passionate about and he has been very lucky and that his work always allowed him the necessary time to travel. Dave has traveled all across the UK, the United States of America, South Africa, and a little bit of Ireland. Because of writing and the fact that he can do it from anywhere in the world, Dave plans on visiting Portugal, Spain, Germany, Malta, and Italy next.
Dave loves writing about his passions, his hobbies, and everything that he is familiar with in terms of his career. He has also shown that he can write about almost anything and he enjoys the challenges that arise that learning new topics presents. He spends a lot of time doing his research and he has told me that that this is one of his favorite things about writing is learning about new things.

When people, whether friends, colleagues, or just anyone who you are talking to, finds out that you do karate, it tends to garner a lot of interest. While talking to people about karate, I always seem to get asked the same questions, so I thought I would answer some of them in this post. The…
